Mina is available on Monday and Friday afternoons by appointment only. He also attends
home visits for those who live locally and are unable to attend our premises. Mina can look after foot problems
in all age groups from children to the elderly.
A referral is not necessary if you are attending privately. A referral from your doctor is required if you want
to claim through Veterans’ Affairs or WorkSafe. You may also be covered by Medicare if you have long term
chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis or vascular disease. Your doctor will have to give you an Enhanced
Primary Care Plan (EPC) before you make an appointment.
All major Private Health Insurance Funds cover podiatry services under their ancillary tables. Check with your
fund to find out your level of cover. We have HICAPS which means you will be able to claim from your health
fund on the spot and only pay the gap.
Mina completed a Bachelor of Podiatry at La Trobe University, Melbourne, in 1999. He is a full member of the Australian Podiatry Association and has been working as a Podiatrist since graduating.
Mina enjoys all areas of podiatry including general foot care, nail surgery, corns, calluses and providing orthotics for biomechanical foot problems. His patients range from young children to the elderly.
Mina also speaks Arabic. Mina is here Monday and Friday afternoons.
