MyMedicare is a free and voluntary program that allows you to register Hill Medical Services as your preferred general practice and nominate your preferred GP.
Where possible, it is best to attend the same medical clinic for your ongoing care. Staying with one practice helps your GP and healthcare team understand your medical history, monitor changes over time, coordinate treatments and provide more consistent, personalised care.
Registering may also provide access to:
- Greater continuity of care with your regular GP and healthcare team
- Longer Medicare-funded telehealth consultations
- Improved coordination of chronic condition management and ongoing care
- Additional services for eligible patients, including residential aged care patients
Registration does not prevent you from visiting another medical practice when needed, and you can change or withdraw your registration at any time.
You can register through your Medicare Online Account in myGov by selecting Hill Medical Services and your preferred GP, or ask our reception team for assistance.
